Virgin coconut soy wax is a clean-burning, eco-friendly blend that isgluten-free, toxin-free, paraben-free, and phthalate-free, made from renewable sources. Our wax blend includes coconut wax, soy wax, and a small amount of food-grade paraffin, all FDA-approved and made in the USA. The addition of food-grade paraffin enhances scent performance and burn quality, ensuring an excellent fragrance throw. After burning, you may notice natural changes in the wax’s characteristics—this is completely normal and happens when the coconut soy wax heats up.

Phthalates are chemicals commonly used in plastics, cosmetics, and fragrances, but they have been linked toserious health concerns, including asthma, ADHD, obesity, reproductive issues, and even certain cancers. At CICADA, we prioritizephthalate-free materials, ensuring our candles and fragrances are safe for you to enjoy without harmful toxins in the air.

Our fragrances are crafted witha blend of natural essential oils and phthalate-free fragrance oils. Some candles contain only phthalate-free fragrance oils, ensuring a long-lasting, high-quality scent throw. Without these carefully selected fragrance blends, our candles and perfumes wouldn’t have the same depth, longevity, or aromatic experience.

Each glass jar candle comes beautifully packaged in a 100% cotton CICADA-stamped bag, wrapped in eco-friendly, recyclable materials, and placed in a kraft gift box. Your order is then shipped inside a fully recyclable shipping box filled with biodegradable starch packing peanuts, which dissolve in water.

• During summer months, we use cool-shield wrap to protect your candle from heat, ensuring it arrives in perfect condition.

The first time you light your candle, allow it toburn until the wax melts to the edge of the vessel—this prevents tunneling and ensures aclean, even burnevery time. This initial burn may take2-3 hours, but it’s worth it for maximum burn time! Never burn your candle for more than4 hours at a time.

Finished your candle? Repurpose your vessel! Here’s how:

1. Remove excess wax and wick holder – The easiest way is to place the jar in the freezer overnight. The wax will shrink and should pop right out in the morning!
2. Wash the vessel – Be sure to remove wax before rinsing in the sink, as wax can clog drains.
